Martha Lisle, Cellist

Martha Lisle received her Bachelor of Music and Artist Diploma from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. At CCM, she studied with Yehuda Hanani.
A graduate of the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, in Houston, Texas, Ms. Lisle studied privately with Anthony Elliott and Laszlo Varga.
In January 2004, she completed a one-year study program with Csaba Onczay at the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, Hungary. While studying at the Cincinnati College- Conservatory of Music she was at various times principal cellist of all three orchestras.
In 2000, she was the winner of the conservatory’s concerto competition. Ms. Lisle has performed in many festivals including Bach Annalia, Aspen Music Festival, Leipzig International Summer Music Academy, and several master class courses in Europe. She has performed numerous solo recitals in the States and in Europe. Currently, Ms. Lisle is a member of the White Oak Trio.
Ms. Lisle is currently on a leave of absence.
